He was nominated in 2012 for the 211 Helpline volunteer of the year for his work advancing addiction wellness in our community.  Dave works to network with others in the community that provide needed services for those seeking to recover from the chronic disease of addiction.  He is highly committed to helping every individual discover his or her unique pathway to recovery.  Currently, Dave serves as a facilitator for SMART Recovery in Sioux Falls. Prior to his work with Face It TOGETHER Sioux Falls, Dave enjoyed a successful career in the sales field.

Dave shares his life with his wife Becky and his son, Kevin.  He enjoys hiking and golf.  He loves music and is a member of a local band.  He also volunteers as a foster parent, at Children’s Home Society, and the St Francis House.
